Joey Schusler Racing

I haven’t had a whole lot of time to keep the blog section of this site going but I have been posting up tons of pics and updates via Twitter. Be sure to scope out all the latest via the Twitter feed on the left.

All week I was with the entire Yeti team/family in Boulder City, Nevada testing suspension with Fox and setting up the team dynamic. Next we traveled to Fontana, California, where I am now. We are all racing the Fontana City National here. Today was the first day of practice and it was amazing! So much fun to ride some gnarly rock sections and see every one on the race circuit again! I hate to off season! The new Royal Racing kit looks amazing as well as our new WTB seats. Aside from that, we have basically all the same sponsors this year. I have been on the new Yeti prototype, loosely named the “720″. It is an amazing ride and I can’t wait to get some more time on the thing. After this race I go to Guatemala for the Pan American Championships, then to Sea Otter, then on to Washington for the first round of the Pro GRT and then off the Euro land for the WC’s. Very Exciting! Its shaping up to be a great season!

I’ve often found it faster to get around town on a bike than in a car. This new feature on google maps is really helpful.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Joey TV are complete. These are videos from 2006, 2007, and 2008. So its all my old footage brought back to life. Season 3 with all of my 2009 videos will be up later this week, and season 4 videos will start pouring in shortly after that.

The concept behind Joey TV is basically a cross between a video blog, a podcast, and random silly footage.

First up is this short video about Google. I think they are trying to take over the world. I guess we can either be scared or just buy a bunch of stock in the company and call it good.

On a lighter note, this is just plain funny…

“The Cove” won an Oscar. This is awesome. Louie Psihoyos, director and visionary of “The Cove” is one of my best friends father. It was cool to see how hard he worked on this movie over the years and to see how far he has come with it. Cool movie with a good message, I strongly suggest it.

Don’t mess with a Yeti (Sasquach, Bigfoot, Large mythical creature, call it what you will).  These ads are amazing.

Am I obsessed with the Yeti brand image if I want one of these sitting on my desk in front of me right now? I want one!
